Geoff Abrams, a Newport Harbor sophomore and the No. 2-seeded player, defeated Sunny Hills sophomore Joseph Gilbert, 6-3, 6-1, in the third round of the PowerAde Easter Bowl junior tennis championships at the Doral Resort and Country Club in Miami.
