A Kindness in Rain
* Unfortunately, it isn’t very often that we take the time to write concerning a very nice happening in Los Angeles. However, being a New Englander (proud of it too), and finding so many skeptics in these parts, I must say I was overwhelmed the other evening. When waiting for the bus in a rare “driving rainstorm” at the corner of Robertson and 3rd Street, a very kind parking lot attendant removed his rain slicker and insisted on my wearing it home. Perhaps these types of things do happen in L.A., but how often do we really take the time to say “thank you” publicly?
