TH&M; Advertising Inc. has moved from the airport area to smaller offices in Old Town Irvine. The agency is in a former pinto bean warehouse, said Jim Hughes, president and creative director.
He said the move reflects a shrinking staff. The agency is down to a dozen people, from 35 at one point.
Hughes said he started consciously whittling the staff last summer so he could offer clients a pay-as-you-go service instead of charging a retainer fee.
“I put senior staff people in charge of key departments” and they hire contract workers as needed, he said.
