COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Anderson’s Shooting Leads SCC Past Evangel

COSTA MESA — Todd Anderson made all seven shots he took from the field and finished with 20 points to help Southern California College to a 95-82 victory over Evangel (Mo.) College in a men’s basketball game Friday.
Anderson also made six of eight free-throw attempts. Darren Thomas made four of five shots from the field and Court Bickmore made four of six for Southern California College, which shot 59% (33 for 56).
Thomas had 13 points and Bickmore 12 for SCC, which made 20 of 27 shots in the second half.

In a nonconference women’s game:
Southern California College 59, Evangel (Mo.) College 47--Emily Wedel scored 17 points for Southern California College (10-3).
Nicole Kelley had 14 points and 13 rebounds and Jamie Zitterkopf added 10 points and 10 rebounds for SCC.
