In the Santa Maria tournament:

Irvine Valley 71, Santa Barbara 68--Tom Airey scored a team-high 17 points, including five three-pointers, Damon Sims added 15 points and Arturo Clemente had 14 points and nine rebounds for Irvine Valley (11-6). The Lasers play Oxnard in the consolation final at 5 p.m. today.

In the College of the Canyons tournament:

L.A. City 58, Cypress 55--LA City, which was averaging 106 points, needed three free throws in the final 49 seconds to hold off Cypress in the semifinals.

Craig Olson of Cypress (8-10) made two free throws with 1:54 remaining to tie it, 55-55. Matt Kenney scored 16 points and Jeff Cummins added 11 for Cypress, which will play in the third-place game.

In the Fullerton women’s tournament:

Golden West 74, El Camino 49--Deana Itow had 21 points and six assists, Kristin Brun added 17 points and Michelle Kravik had 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead Golden West (17-2), which moves into the 8 p.m. semifinal.

Fullerton 75, Antelope Valley 67--Nikki Clark had 23 points for Fullerton, which plays Riverside at 6 p.m. in today’s semifinal.

In the San Jose tournament:

Los Altos Foothill 76, Orange Coast 60--LeAnn Kasmer scored 18 points and had 14 rebounds, and America Robledo added 15 points as OCC (11-7) was eliminated in the second round of the double-elimination tournament. Foothill is 13-5.
