Peninsula Girls Lose to Clovis West

The Peninsula High girls basketball team was upset Wednesday night in the semifinals of the 14th annual Tournament of Champions at Santa Barbara.
The Panthers lost to Fresno Clovis West, 64-48.
Peninsula (5-1), seeded second in the tournament, led at halftime, 27-26, but junor forward Adrin Williams led a Clovis West rally by scoring 19 points.
The Panthers will play the loser of the Ontario-Atherton Sacred Heart Prep game for third place tonight at 6.
Peninsula was led by Mimi McKinney, who had 15 points, and Katharine Foster-Keddie, who added 13 points.
