Westinghouse Plans to Make MedGroup Device

MedGroup Inc., an Encino supplier of medical products, said Westinghouse Electric Corp. has tentatively agreed to manufacture MedGroup’s car seat for the disabled.
The car seat will be made at Westinghouse’s plant in Cleveland, Ohio. MedGroup said it would continue limited production of the seat at its Newbury Park facility, but that location will now be used primarily for research and development.
The company said the Westinghouse deal allows it to concentrate on marketing and sales.
