Finding Treasure

Paul Dean’s article, “Yesterday’s Town” (Dec. 5), reminds us that there are nearby treasures. I also tend to remember favorite restaurants, will drive extra miles to reach them, and return year after year (a.k.a. The Swallows of Capistrano Effect). Inadvertently, new treasures remain undiscovered.
Within the past year, a new restaurant opened in nearby Ojai called Suzanne’s Cuisine. I personally found it while lodging across the street at the Ojai Valley Inn. The food gave new meaning to discovering new treasures on well-traveled roads.
