SAN DIMAS : Mile-Long Freeway Stretch Closed for Movie Filming
- Share via
A mile-long stretch of the Foothill Freeway in San Dimas was closed overnight--as it will be the next two nights--so a movie company can film the seventh installment of the “Nightmare on Elm Street” series, Caltrans said.
The eastbound lanes will close at San Dimas Avenue starting at 8 each night, and the westbound lanes will close at Foothill Boulevard starting at 11 p.m., a spokesman said. The freeway will reopen each morning at 6.
Katja Motion Picture Co. of Los Angeles has a permit to film on the roadway for this week and for three days starting next Monday.
