FILLMORE : Youth, 16, Charged in Stabbing Death

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with murder Tuesday in connection with the stabbing death of a Fillmore man Saturday.
Rodolfo Molina Mora, 27, was stabbed during an altercation in the 700 block of Blaine Street in Fillmore about 3:40 a.m., prosecutors said.
He later died of wounds to the heart and lung, a coroner’s spokesman said.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Michael K. Frawley said prosecutors will seek to have the 16-year-old tried as an adult. Frawley said the suspect and victim knew each other, but the prosecutor would not comment on a possible motive for the stabbing.
