ANAHEIM — Police on Monday released the identity of a 14-year-old driver who was fatally shot Saturday after arguing with the occupants of two other cars.
Jaime Salazar Saavedra of Anaheim died at UCI Medical Center Saturday night of a gunshot wound to the head.
Saavedra was cruising with two girls in a car, but the girls were not hurt when several shots were fired into the vehicle, Police Sgt. Steve Rodig said. Saavedra was driving without a license, Rodig said.
Police said they knew of no motive for the slaying but were looking at the case as possibly gang-related.
