BREA — The body of an unidentified woman in her 20s was found over the weekend in a dumpster, police said Monday.
The body was found Sunday about 9 p.m. behind a building at 601 W. Lambert Road. Police hope to identify the victim through fingerprints taken Monday, investigator Clyde Wason said.
The body was found by a woman who had been looking through dumpsters for carpet, Wason said.
The victim had shoulder-length, dark brown hair and brown eyes. There were no outward signs of trauma on the body, Wason said.
Police were awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Anyone with information should call the Brea Police Department at (714) 671-4411.
