Superior Industries Gets More Ford Tooling Orders

Superior Industries International Inc., a Van Nuys-based manufacturer of aluminum wheels, said it has received additional tooling orders from Ford Motor Co. for the auto maker’s new “World Car” compact cars.
Superior previously announced a five-year contract from Ford, estimated at $15 million to $20 million annually, to produce three aluminum wheel models for Ford’s World Car program. The additional tooling orders increase that amount to $35 million annually and $175 million over the life of the contract.
