It’s Time to Book for Marine Highway

If your summer plans include a voyage through Alaska’s Inside Passage on the Marine Highway’s ferry system, then your winter plans had better include making reservations.
The Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea lanes in the world.
Ferry staterooms and vehicle space for June, July and August are the first to go, a spokeswoman said, and bookings should be made as soon as possible.
For reservations and information call (800) 642-0066. Reservation agents are busy--a tape recording tells callers they may be on hold for 15 minutes. Summer brochures may also be obtained from the Marine Highway, P.O. Box 25535, Juneau, Alaska 99802.
