Eileen Ogintz is correct in recommending the Colonial Lantern Tour in Plymouth, Mass., for children (“Taking the Kids,” Nov. 7). A group of fourth- through 12th-graders from our school thoroughly enjoyed wandering the historic streets and parks of town carrying the festive lanterns. The quaint town of Plymouth is much more interesting with a few stories and a “hands-on” approach. A visit to the Plymouth plantation is also highly recommended.
