Cypress 106, Valley 95--Dewauen Nunnery scored 21 points and Craig Griffen added 18 for Valley in a second-round game of the Laughlin (Nev.) tournament.
Eric Grayson added 16 points and 18 rebounds for Valley (4-3).
Citrus 81, Glendale 74--Sophomore Nick Athanassakis led the Vaqueros (5-2) with 17 points and 11 rebounds, eight on the offensive end, in the second round of the Golden West tournament. Sophomore Eugene Hatch added 13 points.
WOMEN
Valley 98, Fresno City 95--Vonya Dangerfield scored 17 points, and Nicole Baynes and Cicely Brewster each added 16 as Valley (2-4) snapped a four-game losing streak in the consolation quarterfinal of the College of the Sequoias tournament.
Brewster had a team-high 21 rebounds for Valley (2-4). Baynes added 12 rebounds and five assists.
Canyons 84, Santa Rosa 65--Rebekah Cunan (15 points), Lisa Hilton (15), Carlisa Hamagaki (13) and Karen Sklar (11) scored in double figures for Canyons (4-4) in a consolation quarterfinal of the Sequoias tournament.
Cal Lutheran 93, Mills 52--Nicole Albert led the visiting Regals (2-2) in a nonconference game.
