Queens Court Queen overtook Mamselle Bebette nearing the wire to win Friday’s $39,000 allowance race at Hollywood Park by three-quarters of a length.
Queens Court Queen, the 9-10 favorite ridden by Chris McCarron, covered one mile on the turf in 1:35 1/5.
The victory was the fourth in 17 lifetime starts for Queens Court Queen, who also has six seconds and two thirds. Queens Court Queen, a 4-year-old Kentucky-bred filly, paid $3.80, $2.60 and $2.
Mamselle Bebette finished a head in front of Cappucino Bay and returned $3 and $2.40. Cappucino Bay was 1 1/2 lengths ahead of Thirst For Peace and paid $2.40.
