Buffett Raises Stake in Wells Fargo to 12.2%: Omaha billionaire Warren Buffett said he has raised his stake in Wells Fargo & Co. to 6.82 million shares, sending the stock up $1.75 to $114.50 on the New York Stock Exchange. At Wednesday’s closing price, Buffett’s holding is worth about $777 million. Buffett’s latest purchases, disclosed in a SEC filing, were made between Nov. 3 and Nov. 8, said Berkshire Hathaway Inc., a holding company Buffett controls. The stake in the San Francisco-based bank holding company is held for investment, the filing said.
