Highway Safety

* I was recently executing a passing maneuver when I glanced over to see what was occupying the driver’s attention. He was looking down at his console, dialing his cellular phone! Traffic ahead ground to a halt. He miraculously missed a rear-end collision. (Good brakes!)

One cannot dial a telephone and watch the road at the same time. Cellular phones will continue to be dangerous until they become completely voice activated. Operation should be outlawed on high-speed highways until that time.
