Antelope Valley 26, Palmdale 14--Sophomore Jermaine Lewis scored three touchdowns, including two in the final three minutes, to help visiting Antelope Valley overcome a 14-6 halftime deficit.
Lewis rushed for 222 yards in 39 carries for the Antelopes (7-1, 3-0). Rocque Sandoval paced Palmdale (2-6, 1-2) by completing 12 of 25 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown.
Palmdale tailback John Towels rushed for 50 yards in nine carries, including a five-yard touchdown run. Towels also caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Sandoval in the second quarter.
