SEASON AT A GLANCE: Pavley leads the Chargers--ranked fifth in Southern Section Division I--in two ways: she’s tops in kills with close to 18 a match and she sparks the team emotionally.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Pavley, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter, registered team highs in kills last week as Agoura swept its top two Marmonte League challengers, Royal and Westlake. Pavley had 11 kills against the Highlanders and 19 against the Warriors. “I think she has definitely been the driving force behind the vehicle,” Coach Chris Everson said. “She brings a lot of intensity to every single match, and she’s been a perfectly coachable kid.”
