Datum Inc.: The Anaheim manufacturer of frequency products and timing instrumentation said its profit for the third quarter totaled $130,000, or 5 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $119,000, or 5 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Sales dipped 2% to $6.5 million from $6.6 million. For the first three quarters of 1993, profit was $183,000, or 7 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $456,000, or 18 cents a share, a year earlier. Nine-month sales were down 12% to $18.4 million from $20.8 million. The 1992 third quarter and nine-month periods included results from operations that the company has since divested.
