Sony Pictures Entertainment TV Enters Interactive Deal: The unit has agreed to help create and produce programming for Mountain View, Calif.-based Interactive Network Inc. IN offers subscribers the ability to play along, on a real-time basis, with interactive game and sports shows. The service, which has been tested in Sacramento, recently announced plans to roll it out into other markets, including San Francisco. Sony’s Merv Griffin Enterprises division produces the popular game shows “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune.” Sony is also developing its own game show TV cable channel.
