Driver Seriously Injured in Crash

ANAHEIM — A 32-year-old motorist who reportedly failed to stop for a red light suffered major injuries after colliding with a pickup truck Sunday night, police said.
The driver was a woman from Orange, whose name was not available. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with major internal injuries, police said.
The pickup truck driver, Linda Carol Neely, 33, of San Bernardino, had minor injuries, police said. She was treated and released from Western Medical Center in Anaheim, hospital officials said.
Police said Neely was driving east on Cerritos Avenue through the intersection with State College Boulevard about 5:20 p.m. when the accident occurred. The other driver was heading south on State College, Anaheim Police Lt. Jeff Roush said.
An investigation was continuing, police said .
