Independence One Bank of California: The Mission Viejo bank posted a third-quarter profit of $3.1 million, a 15% increase over its 1992 third-quarter income of $2.7 million. Profit for the first nine months of 1993 was $7 million, up 8% from $6.5 million for the same period last year. Total assets as of Sept. 30 were $1 billion, down 9% from $1.1 billion a year earlier.
