Hart Overwhelms Lompoc, 42-6

Mike Kocicka passed for 187 yards and three touchdowns as Hart buried Lompoc, 42-6, Saturday night in a nonleague game at Lompoc.
Kocicka, a senior transfer from Crescenta Valley, completed 10 of 14 passes with no interceptions. Kocicka has passed for 1,587 yards and 15 touchdowns this season.
Wide receiver Mark Mahone caught scoring passes of 51 and seven yards in the first quarter and John McLaughlin caught an 11-yard scoring pass in the second quarter.
Hart (6-1), ranked No. 4 in the area by The Times, led, 14-0, after one quarter and added four touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 42-0 lead.
Lompoc (4-3) gained only 160 yards.
