Canoga Park 21, Monroe 18--Quarterback John Carlsen’s one-yard run with 1:38 left in the game lifted visiting Canoga Park (1-5-1, 1-2-1) past Monroe (1-6, 0-4).

Carlsen, who completed 11 of 20 for 121 yards, capped an 11-play 76-yard drive with the score.

Defensive back Peter Holtrichter opened the scoring for the Hunters with a 97-yard fumble return for a touchdown following a blocked field goal in the second quarter. Running back Mario Arce rushed for 68 yards in 15 carries, including a nine-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
