MCA, Brandon Tartikoff Plan TV series: MCA TV and former NBC chief programmer Brandon Tartikoff are planning to launch a new, late night comedy series titled “Last Call.” The half-hour daily program, described as a “concept-driven series designed as an alternative to the single-host celebrity-driven talk shows,” is set to premiere in the fall of 1994, although MCA has not yet signed up any stations to carry the series.
