SEASON AT A GLANCE: Mehlman has posted a 27-2 record and has led the Wolverines to an 8-2 mark and the No. 1 ranking by the Southern Section in Division III. Her only defeats came when she was slowed by a knee injury.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Mehlman led Harvard-Westlake to three victories last week, including an 11-7 decision over Westlake (ranked fifth in Division I). Mehlman, seeded among the top 15 by the Southern California Tennis Assn. in juniors, defeated Westlake’s Katy Smith, 6-4, in a set between No. 1 players. She won her other eight sets by scores of 6-1 or 6-0.
