Clayton, one of Orange County’s best running backs while at Trabuco Hills High School, is showing the same ability at OCC. Clayton rushed for 1,293 yards in 1991 as a senior in high school. He had 1,920 yards rushing in his prep career. Although his college career is only four games old, he already has rushed for 100 or more yards twice and has 397 yards in four games. Clayton had 134 yards in 21 carries and scored two touchdowns as the Pirates beat San Diego Mesa, 37-14, Saturday. He had 105 yards this season against El Camino.

* Mike Bolster of Golden West won the heavyweight class at the Fresno City wrestling tournament.
* Matt Padgett of Rancho Santiago won the 167-pound class at the Fresno City wrestling tournament.
