SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Meeting Thursday on Proposition 174

School Supt. James A. Fleming will speak at a special informational meeting about Proposition 174, the school voucher initiative, at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The program is sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Assns. of several elementary schools, and will take place at the San Juan Women’s Club, 31442 El Horno St., San Juan Capistrano.
The statewide measure, which is on the ballot Nov. 2, would give parents a voucher worth $2,600 to send their children to any voucher-redeeming private, parochial or public school.
