Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men near Santa Paula early Tuesday on suspicion of carrying loaded weapons and being under the influence of drugs.

Lesley Dale Seymour Jr., 30, of Ventura and Christopher David Gooch, 29, of Castaic were stopped on suspicion of drunk driving on Wheeler Canyon Road near Foothill Road north of Santa Paula about 1 a.m.

Sheriff’s deputies found a loaded handgun under the car’s front seat. They also found a loaded handgun in Gooch’s waistband and a dagger hidden in his clothes.
