Laguna Beach Player Wins Hardcourt Title

LAGUNA HILLS — Doris Clark of Laguna Beach won the 65s singles final, defeating Cynthia Bruce of Coral Gables, Fla., 2-6, 7-5, 6-0, at the USTA Women’s Senior Hardcourt Tennis Championships Saturday at Leisure World.

In the 65s doubles final, Jeanne Garrett of San Diego and Peggy Landgroop of Dallas, defeated Caroline Henry of Jackson, Miss., and Corky Murdock of Los Angeles, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
