Ex-Mater Dei Athlete Picks Santa Ana Valley

SANTA ANA — Olujimi Mann, a former Mater Dei basketball player, has enrolled at Santa Ana Valley, Falcon Coach Rich Prospero said Tuesday.

Mann, a sophomore, was a key reserve for the Monarchs last season. His father, Richard Mann, said the transfer was for financial reasons and that he would petition the Southern Section for a hardship transfer so his son will be eligible to play this season.
