Tennessee’s Rep. Lloyd to Forego Reelection Bid

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Rep. Marilyn Lloyd (D-Tenn.) announced Friday that she will not seek reelection to the southeastern Tennessee congressional seat she has held for 20 years.
“There are other things I want to do with my life,” said Lloyd, who has recently battled cancer.
