Security Environmental Systems Inc.: The Huntington Beach hazardous-waste transport and disposal company reported a profit of $3.1 million, or 89 cents a share, for its fiscal year ended June 30. That included a gain of $1.8 million from the divestiture of the company’s biomedical waste operations in May. The annual earnings compared to with profit of $627,368, or 18 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Revenue more than doubled to $7.9 million from $3.6 million for fiscal 1992.
