Mademoiselle Names New Chief Editor

Elizabeth Crow has been named editor in chief of Mademoiselle magazine. She succeeds Gabe Doppelt, who resigned Wednesday from the Conde Nast Publications magazine.
Lisa Marantos is joining Joe Roth’s Caravan Pictures, where shewill develop film projects.
Marantos was director of creative affairs at Universal Pictures and previously worked at Tristar Pictures.
Gary Spivack was named national director of alternative and rock promotion for MCA Records.
Warner Bros.’ Consumer Products Licensing Division named Janice Hamlin vice president of retail business development, Karen McTier vice president of U.S. sales, Michael Peikoff vice president of worldwide publicity and public relations and Barbara Sims vice president of marketing for Looney Tunes and classic properties.
Kelly Kahl was named director of network research for Warner Bros. Television.
Warner Bros.’ new magazine, Entertainment News Television, named Emmy Dais executive in charge of production, Douglas Myers consulting producer of field operations, Ray Jacobs creative director and Scott Miller creative consultant.
Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising promoted Lisa Turchan to vice president of finance and administration.
Marilyn Katz has been named vice president of residuals for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Sharon Holliday has been hired as Tristar Pictures’ director of publicity for electronic broadcasting.
