Chrysler Strike Deadline Set: The auto maker said the United Auto Workers union set a deadline of midnight Thursday to reach a new three-year labor agreement. The UAW has been meeting with members of Chrysler Corp.’s negotiating committee in small groups for several days and the talks are expected to intensify now that a strike deadline has been established.
