L.A. Baptist 27, Calvary Chapel 3--Zack Hernandez completed 18 of 33 passes for 310 yards for the Knights (2-0) at Orange Coast College. Hernandez connected on scoring passes of 37 and 29 yards to receiver Jim Romero, who had 166 yards in nine catches. The Knights took their opening possession 85 yards in six plays, scoring on a 31-yard pass from Hernandez to his twin brother, Matt.
Calvary Chapel (0-2) scored on a 25-yard field goal from Aaron Fountain. L.A. Baptist scored on the second plays of each of the final two quarters.
