Kings Blow 4-1 Lead, Are Tied by Canucks

The Kings blew a 4-1 lead Friday night and were tied, 4-4, in their exhibition opener against the Canucks before 13,966 at Vancouver.
The Canucks scored two goals in the third period and one in the second to overcome the Kings’ first-period outburst.

Luc Robitaille, who suffered a strained lower back Wednesday, might resume skating within a week, the Kings announced.
The Kings returned six players to their junior teams Friday--forwards Jeff Mitchell, Jeff Shevalier and Shayne Toporowski and goaltenders Sandy Allan, Frederick Beaubien and Jason Saal.
