COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Master’s Bongarra Scores Three

Forward Ezequiel Bongarra scored three goals to lead The Master’s men’s soccer team to a 5-3 nonconference victory against La Verne on Wednesday at The Master’s. Bongarra, a senior from Argentina, had his first hat trick of the season.
The Master’s took three one-goal leads in the first half, only to have La Verne tie the score each time. Steve Janho scored the go-ahead goal for the Mustangs 21 minutes into the second half. Bongarra sealed the victory with his third goal 18 minutes later.
Mark Anderson and Brian Crosson each played in goal for The Master’s (2-1-1). Anderson stopped a penalty kick.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Cal Lutheran 6, Redlands 0--Rachel Wackerman had two goals and an assist to lead the host Regals to their first victory in four matches in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match.
Amy Ward, Joey Allard, Jill Gallegos and Carla Crawford also scored for Cal Lutheran (1-3, 1-0 in conference play).
