48 Women Entered in Pool Tournament

BELL GARDENS — The world’s 48 top-ranking women billiard players, including 1992 and 1993 World Champion Robin Bell, will compete for a purse of more than $30,000 in the Women’s Classic Cup 9-Ball tournament at the Bicycle Club today through Sept. 19.
The tournament runs from noon to 7 p.m. daily. Tickets are $7 per session and $50 for a tournament pass. The Bicycle Club is at 7301 Eastern Ave. Information: (310) 806-4646.
