The Chamber of Commerce will hold a public breakfast meeting Sept. 24 to pay tribute to the city’s police and firefighters.
About 120 police and fire department employees will attend the event at the Civic Center, where chamber members intend to honor them for their work.
“Our members truly appreciate the outstanding job that these two departments do,” said Sherry Norman, executive director of the chamber. “I think they work very well with our business community, and this is our way to say, ‘Thank you.’ ”
The breakfast, which will feature a comedian as entertainment, begins at 6:45 a.m. There is a $10 admission fee. For reservations, call (714) 529-4938.
