Pilot Cardiovascular Acquired: A New Jersey company said Monday it has acquired Pilot Cardiovascular Systems Inc.
C.R. Bard Inc. of Murray Hill, N.J., said in a press release that Pilot, a start-up company based in San Clemente, has developed, patented and received federal approval for a device used by doctors during heart surgery.
C.R. Bard is a manufacturer of surgical instruments.
