Two Appointed as Deputy Assistants to President

WASHINGTON — Joe Velasquez, an AFL-CIO official, and Keith Mason, a former chief aide to the governor of Georgia, have been named deputy assistants to President Clinton, the White House has announced. Velasquez will serve as deputy director of political affairs. Mason will be deputy assistant for intergovernmental affairs.
