Police Identify Hit-and-Run Victim

ANAHEIM — The victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident was identified Wednesday as Arthur W. Durr, 60, of Anaheim.
Durr was struck by a van about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday on La Palma Avenue and died shortly after at Anaheim Memorial Hospital, Sgt. Richard Buchholz said.
Witnesses told police Durr was crossing the street when a dark van hit him and continued west.
The van was dark with lights across the top rear, police said. It may have been a 1985 or ’86 Chevy Astro. A man and woman were inside.
