LAGUNA BEACH : HIV Panel to Hold Town Meeting Today
- Share via
The Laguna Beach HIV Advisory Committee will hold a town meeting today so residents may help the city plan how it will provide HIV-related services during the coming year.
After gathering input from participants, the panel will develop a recommendation for the City Council on how the city should deal with issues such as prevention, testing and treatment.
Councilman Robert F. Gentry, the council’s representative on the committee, said this is the first time such a meeting is being held here. The goal, he said, is to stem the spread of the AIDS virus and to help residents who are ill.
The meeting will be at South Coast Medical Center’s auditorium, 31872 Coast Highway, from 4 to 7 p.m.
