Phuket Suggestion

Regarding Nancy Parkman’s Aug. 22 letter, concerning water pollution at Phuket, Thailand, I would like to recommend a hotel on a non-polluted beach. It is Le Meridien and it has a lovely clean beach at Relax Bay, further down the road from other busy, crowded beaches. Having lived in Malaysia for three years, and now returning four times a year, Phuket remains one of my favorite vacation spots. There are many terrific hotels, lovely beaches and great food.
