Parish Story Left Out Anglo Viewpoint

* Your article on St. Finbar’s parish in Burbank (“Parish Mirrors Burbank’s New Ethnic Makeup,” July 26) was very slanted. You neglected to interview any Anglos who found it necessary to leave St. Finbar’s.
First of all, St. Finbar’s and St. Patrick’s parishes are having to meet the needs of all the Burbank Spanish people.
The Anglos who have left St. Finbar’s did not leave because of the Latinos. They left because there was no consideration given the young families and members who attended the 9:30 Mass for many years, and without any input from them the 9:30 Mass was changed to Spanish, even though it was the most heavily attended Mass.
