As if the proposed Wal-Mart store in Simi Valley is not enough, now Costco wants to build a store. And is it really necessary to have a second K mart?
We currently have a number of discount chain stores: K mart, Ross, T.J. Maxx . . . What’s next, Marshall’s, Fedco and the Price Club? It is unfortunate Gemco, Zody’s and White Front went out of business, Simi Valley could have made headlines as the world’s largest discount city.
